One of the public transit unions here in Philly, whose members on average make 52K a year plus full benefits and pension not to mention guaranteed jobs in this economy, have decided in their infinite wisdom to strike, which has turned an otherwise relaxing commute into a teeth-gnashing test of will. Here's a smattering of what I've been listening to in lieu of constantly uttering "serenity nows" and eventually snapping at the first person who has "Party in the USA" blaring too loud on their iPod.
The National - So Far Around the Bend
Bibio - Haikuesque (When She Laughs)
Bela Fleck - At Last We Meet Again
American Analog Set - Know By Heart
Miles Davis - Flamenco Sketches
The Cinemamtic Orchestra - That Home
It's a Surprise
