What a terrible fucking city. The sixth borough of New York has to be among the worst places in America - it has all of the worst parts of New York (mainly douchey, self-important East Coasters) and none of the good parts of the City (culture and personality). And have you ever met anyone that went to UPenn that wasnt a giant douche (we fucking get it, you went to an Ivy League School. Sucks you couldn't get into one of the prestigious ones)?* So not only is Philly filled with terrible people, it contains in its borders a factory that takes relatively normal people and turns them into horrible people. I'm not even exploring the whole booing Santa Claus, booing drafting McNabb then blaming him for everything that goes wrong in the city and housing in its Metropolitan area the parents that spawned a she-devil and general life ruiner.
I could put my hatred of Philly aside for awhile - even when they beat my beloved Rockies. But not tonight...tonight pushed me over the edge. You let the worst, most hated organization in all of America rise from the abyss it had been in for the past 9 years. And you didnt make it fun to watch - it was predictable - Brad Lidge blows a game. Shocking. Cole Hammels can't throw anything other than a fastball and a changeup and gets punished. Shocking. Ryan Howard strikes out more than Josh when he enters the kiddie end of his so called dating pool. Real big fucking shocker. America hadn't been this united behind Philly since 1776 and to no ones surprise, you let us down. Thanks a lot Philly. You fucking suck.
*This excludes Scott Bernstein. BFFEAEA.
There's the Mike I know, hater of the century, and generally uninformed d-bag. He also happens to call the school that pumps out more terrible people per year than any in all of the land his alma mater, the University of Michigan.
ReplyDeleteMichigan is way douchier than Penn
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - finally something that was at least somewhat humorous! You're one step closer to catching up with ThallenB.
ReplyDeleteFew things: 1)If you are basing the douchieness of Philadelphian on Penn students you are missing the point completely - everyone in Philly loathes the DBs. 2)Since Brad Lidge went to Cherry Creek High School, you should probably hate on him for that instead. 3) Philly is the birthplace of someone really hot. His name starts with a J and ends with an ordan. 4) Have you BEEN to the Constitution Center?
ReplyDeleteI will only respond to Jordan, because his comment was mildly coherent - the rest of you are morons. 1) So if all people in Philly hate the DBs, they hate themselves, much like a self-loathing jew? 2) I am in now way associated with CC and hate it more then Philly. As any East high grad can attest to, relating CC to Denver is an insult. 3) I concede this point, though I would argue that my Mii character is handsome devil. 4) No - nor do I ever plan to...why? because its in Philly. Has the city decided McNabb is to blame for the Phils losing yet?
ReplyDeletebut if you had known that i (ellen) wrote the above comment, you probably wouldn't have responded to it. oh well.
ReplyDeleteps: the mike and jord Mii characters are way too similar for comfort.
